What should me and my friend do in Las Vegas in one whole day of visit there?|194381

Me and my friend (we are both young adults) are planning a trip to SoCal and we are planning to add Vegas to that mix for 1 whole day. My question is what are the must do in order to have our vegas trip complete and legit?? give us all ur ideas! gambling is really not our thing.

  • One day is not going to do it. Stick to the main part of the Strip.

    *

  • Top of the Stratosphere, Red Rock Canyon follow Charleston West! $5 per carload, bring water to drink, check out the museum.

Starbucks at top of the Stratosphere.

Roller Coaster at The Sahara. Cafeteria like Buffet. 1 star rating.
Choose the Nascar Cafe to eat at!

These two places are within a mile of each other.
Both have free parking garages, unlimited time!

Both of you get the $1 shot glasses at the Sahara bar.

Worlds Largest Gift Shop diagnol to the Sahara casino/hotel. Walk to it. Walk back.

Monorail all the way down to the MGM for $5 each. See the lion/tiger exhibit out front near sportsbook.

See the terrible Zoo on Rancho. Sad looking/disgrace!

  • Enjoy the neon lights at night. Take a trip up the 101 stories to the top of Stratosphere and see the entire Vegas Valley. Put $3, no less, in mega bucks for a chance at millions; each pull the same chance. Go see a cirque show like Mystere or Love. Enjoy a long leisurely buffet. And next time come back longer LOL

  • Here is a page of must see and do things when you come to Vegas. They are in order starting at Mandalay Bay and continuing through to downtown. Print it out and bring with you. Most are free or not expensive and worth the price.

  • Not sure what you mean by _young adults_. If you mean under 21 stay in SoCal another day. If 21 _ over and you cannot think of a thing to do, come explore, and you might want to stay more than a day.

  • Everything from the MGM to the Wynn should just about cover it. Sounds like alot I know but believe me when you see it, it_s really only a few blocks, but very BIG blocks.

hope this link helps give you some tips

  • Rent a car and explore the surrounding area such as the Hoover Dam, Lake Mead, and the Desert Country. It is very beautiful.

  • Party like theres no tommorow, thats all what I see here in Vegas .

  • Get married!!!!!!!!

  • There are lots of things you can do in Vegas...I should know because I live here! Depending on on how much money you want to spend, here are a couple of things to do. $= minimum $$=kinda pricey $$$=expensive! :)=free

    1. Go out to a breakfast buffet at one of the hotels. Vegas has tons of of great buffets and while some of them are filling and cheap, others can run very pricey. However, where else can you order caviar at a buffet?? The luxury buffets are the Sterling Brunch at Bally_s $$$, Bellagio Buffet $$, and the Wynn Buffet $$. Cheaper ones are at the Mirage, Mandalay Bay, and Paris.

    2. Since you_re not spending the night, you will be deprived of experiencing the entire nightlife experience Vegas in famous for. Instead, go to a day club. MGM_s is the best. It_s a great way to show off you bikini body and have fun at the same time!

    3. A lot of the hotels offer special attractions.
-Conservatory at the Bellagio: stunning flowers arranged in seasonal designs: waterfalls, windmills.... :)
-Fountains at the Bellagio: the huge lake in front of the hotel comes to life every evening as the water dances to music; one of the most beautiful things i have ever seen :)
-Madame Tussauds at the Venetian: very cool wax figures of famous celebrites/ photo op! $$
-Gondola Rides: also at the venetian relax in a gondola as you listen to your driver sing italian opera $
-Magic Garden: tigers, dolphins, and snakes...oh my! $$
-Volcano: when this thing blows up at night it is awesome! :)

    4. After being a tourist for the day, go to one of Las Vegas_s most delish restaurants. The list goes from least expensive to most.
-Burger Bar at Mandalay Bay: best burgers ever! $15 or less
-House of Blues at Mandalay Bay: decent creole...great music $15 or less
-Rainforest Cafe at MGM Grand: located in a mini-rainforest an amazing experiance you_ll never forget $15-$25
-Mon Ami Gabi at the Paris: one of my favorite places french food in a classy yet comfortable patio is best; also overlooks dancing fountains at bellagio $35 or more
-Il Fornio: good italian food with a view $$

    For fine dining...
Try Craftsteak at MGM, Prime Steakhouse at Bellagio, Eiffel Tower Restaurant at Paris, Nobhill at MGM, Morels at Venetian, or any other place you fancy. (If you can afford these places, there is no need to list prices)

    5. Party the night away at nightclubs such as Jet (Mirage), Pure (Bellagio), Rain (Palms), Studio 54 (MGM), Tryst (Venitian), or XS (Wynn).

    Have fun and party up!!
