What are the best places to spend a great march vacation in Florida?|186480

With the exception of Key West, Palm Beach, Orlando and Miami Beach thank you.
Looking for a nice hot weather, with warm water and 5 star hotels.

Amelia Island. They have the Amelia Island Plantation and The Ritz Carlton.

Sanabel and Captiva, on the southwest coast probably do more to _keep out the riff raff_ than any other ocean communities. There is a high fee for crossing the access bridge to the islands, and virtually no parking places or beach access for non-residents. I get around this by paddling my kayak over from the mainland and renting a bike. (I_m riff raff maybe?) Cabbage Key, a little further north is more isolated but they sure do pamper you.

Destin FL is beautiful you should check it out.

If you_re looking for something a little more relaxing, try Naples, Fort Meyers Beach, or Sanibel Island in SW Florida.

My parents live in Naples _ it is absolutely beautiful! Many upscale restaurants, shops, _ hotels. There is a Ritz-Carlton right on Vanderbilt Beach (see

Very nice dining _ shopping on 5th Ave. in downtown Naples. Pazzo_s has wonderful Italian food _ Tommy Bahama_s is always delicious! The Turtle Club on Vanderbilt beach is very nice for dinner....sit outside on the beach _ watch the sunset while eating.

Hot weather in March? You need to go as far south as Miami for that. I don_t think it_s hot in Miami in March. You should look to the Carribbean or Mexico or South America for hot weather in March.
