What food is Utah famous or best known for?|155512

This is for a project in school and i can_t really find any good answers!!! Thanx for the help!

  • I live in Utah, the fry sauce answer is correct, it can really only be found here, and yes, jello, especially the green jello, other than that, peaches...

  • Mormons. I don_t know what they eat, though.

  • National Parks, Mormons, and a dirty salt lake. The National Parks and scenery are some of the most beautiful on the planet.

  • Mormon food lol j/k

Honey it_s known as the beehive state

  • They are most famous, food wise, as the number one per capita consumers of Jello in the world. The state is predominately Mormon, and very large families are encouraged by the church. With large families come large family gatherings and church functions, and Jello is a staple food at these type of events.

  • Fry sauce is the one thing that you find everywhere in Utah and no one anywhere else even knows what you_re talking about. It is amazing!! Catsup/Mayo, equal parts - mix it up, much better than catsup alone.

Lemon wedge with diet Coke. I_ve seen people in other states do this in the past few years but Utahan_s were doing it long before anyone else.

There are a lot more caffeine free soda_s than I_ve ever seen anywhere else.

Jello, I guess. I don_t know who_s eating it all but I have heard that Utah and Iowa eat more jello than anywhere else.

I have a recipe for Funeral Potatoes that_s been served at every church dinner ever (including funerals, which is where the name comes from).

  • Bees/honey

    Mormonism

  • i think : Chicken Pot Pie, Raisin Muffins, or Leprechaun Pie.

  • It_s known for it_s thick shakes, and great breakfast foods such as omelets and pancakes.

  • Fry Sauce. It_s a mix between ketchup and mayonnaise with a lot of different variations.
