What is the best way to travel via public transit from Manalapan, NJ to The Natural History Museam in NYC?|130660

Taking my family to the museam; we are very new to the area. We have a car but don_t want to drive into the city - would rather take a train or bus or something. Can we drive to a train station in or near Manalapan, NJ and get all the way in to the city?

Once you know where you are getting off on the NJ Transit you will know where to catch your next train..Have a wonderful experience...There is alot to see and do @ the museum.
