I will need to go there for two days, but would like to extend it to a week, however, I_m afraid of the forecasts. Is it really likely to raind everyday?
It_s technically still hurricane season, but it isn_t going to be rainy unless we get a hurricane. High season for that part of Florida is Thanksgiving-April, so October is a wonderful time to visit before the tourists all flock and make the traffic miserable.
One of my best road trips ever was flying into Miami and renting a car and going down the Florida Keys. The water is 2 different color blues on each side of the highway and to be in a car with the tunes blaring on this little strip of highway, it was awesome. Key West has the best sunsets in the US.The weather patterns this winder tend you bring less rain and bad weather to Florida and the eastt coast.
Go and enjoy yourself.October has some of the nicer weather here, not too hot.It may rain but around October, it rains alot less often than in the summer. Hurricane season ends Nov.1 but I wouldn_t worry about it. By the way, if a hurricane is coming, the weather is just about perfect about 2 days before the storm.
In Florida, since it is tropical, it may rain a tiny shower for a couple of minutes and that_s it for the day. Occasionally I_ve seen showers that last less than a minute. The tropics are weird like that.lol
I wouldn_t worry much about hurricanes. Just keep an eye on the weather channel and listen to see if any storms are developing. They develop over by Africa so it takes a long time before it is anywhere near Florida.
If you go to Miami, I recommend staying around the beach. If you do want to leave, Then going somewhere like Coconut Grove _coco walk_ is nice. Also In Coral Gables_ _miracle mile_ is also nice. Coconut Grove and Coral Gables are very small cities within Miami.
The keys..the hot spot is Duval street.
Hope this answered your question. Have fun.No, go have fun, perfect weather. Not crowded with Tourists, rates are low. Have a great time!the weather is absolutely beautiful ....it_s still hurricane season, but your chances are slim for one..it does rain everyday, for about 15 minutes at around 3 or 3:30Warmer than up north (in the 70_s-80_s), but Hurricane season doesn_t end until Nov. (and sometimes the Hurricanes forget it_s over). The rainy season has been here since May. If it rains, it usually blows in and blows out.
