What are the strangest places to visit in New Orleans or Baton Rouge?|108703

I_m taking my first trip to New Orleans and Baton Rouge in the middle of August. I_m looking for any weird, strange, unusual, atypical places including shops, hotels, tours that would make the trip more than memorable. I would appreciate any recommendations.

I_ve done a few tours by these guys. They do a great job.
