Where is a good place to live around Charleston SC?|184109

My husband and I both love Charleston and are looking to move to the area around the end of the year. However, we_re coming from the North East and are not very familiar with the region. We are looking for somewhere with reasonable to cheap house prices, but that is still a decent place to raise a family and close to the city. Any suggestions?

I would suggest looking in the James Island area, which is not too far from the City, as there is an Expressway that connects the Island and the City.
