What are some decent hotels and restaurants in Bellingham, Washington?|114396

I_m going to be there for a week at the beginning of November.
I_d prefer something close to Western Washington University.
If anyone knows of any decent hotels that aren_t overly expensive, and a couple restaurants that are nearby, your advice would be greatly appreciated.

Fairhaven Village Inn
It seems a very good place to stay. Several persons visiting the University were pleased. Just read the reviews.:)
