What are some good vacation places on the East coast between Georgia and Washington DC?|132354

We_re going on vacation for Spring Break, but I have no idea where to go besides our destination: Washington DC. What are some places and spots for sightseeing? It should be cheap, we won_t be needing hotels or anything so we just need some cheaper attractions to amuse ourselves through the trip.
