What are the best Florida vacation spots for a 17 year old?|126601

I_m 17 years old and planning a vacation to Florida. My dad, his girlfriend and one of my friends will be attending. I would like to know where is the best places to stay, that I would enjoy. (Me being under 18 is sort of a disadvantage as far as partying, etc.)

  • St. George Island, along Floridas Forgotten Coast, has many beautiful and pristine beaches and is an ideal place for you to spend a relaxing vacation with your family and friends. You can rent a beach front or bay front vacation home for a nice homey ambience and complete amenities. You can choose among the many water activities like kayaking, fishing, snorkeling, sailing, power boating and jet skiing. Even if youre not into sports, you can just take a dip in the Gulf of Mexico, have fun shelling or read a good book on the beach. Wildlife adventures are tourist attractions as well so you can hike or bike along the trails and view the excellent flora and fauna. Theres Putt N Fuss in Eastpoint which is minutes away if you want to play miniature golf, ride a bumper boat and bungee jump. Theres so much to do for people your age in this vacation haven.

  • I would say either Daytona Beach or Clearwater / St. Pete Beach.
Miami and South Beach are better for the 21 and over crowd and Panama City is for the 18 - 21 year olds. Research the two places I suggested and see if any are of interest to you. Have fun!
