What is the night life in Nashville like during the week?|111192

It_s nearing the end of Christmas break for us college students and my friends and I want to do something exciting. We thought Nashville would be fun, but we would be leaving this week to go to the city and were wondering if the nightlife was any good on the weekdays or if we should just stay home? We were only thinking a 3 day venture... like Wed, Thur, Friday night, then back to Madison, WI on Saturday morning. Any thoughts, anyone?

Also, any recommendations for fun and entertaining attractions for college students? Thanks a bunch.

2nd street in Nashville - any night - street entertainers, Tootsie_s Orchid Lounge (actually on Broadway), Printer_s Alley is nearby. SO much to do and entertainment (not much country music, but very good entertainers) every evening from 6 on.
