What tips do you have for a Florida Spring Break trip?|105852

We_re 4 college girls (21+) planning to fly to Florida for Spring Break 2010. Please give details on places to stay, eat, and party and things to do :) Any other hints would be nice (e.g. package deals).

  • Panama City, and the panhandle in general, has the nicest beaches in Florida. Probably in the country. Sand that_s as white as snow and so fine that it squeaks as you walk. The drawback is that you_re taking a huge gamble with the weather in March. The Gulf will still be frigid that far north, and you never know if the highs will be 80 or 50 degrees during the day. Panama City is well-equipped to handle tourists/spring breakers and has no shortage of bars and restaurants. I haven_t gone partying there in several years, but the last I knew there were two very large (thousands of people) clubs, Spinnaker and Club La Vila. They will get you wasted and will let you party. I have heard that a lot of their hotels are age-restricted at spring break, so you might want to look into that asap. You might also want to look into the Destin/Ft. Walton Beach or Pensacola areas. They each have their own charm, have gorgeous beaches and good bars (just a little smaller and less crowded than PC). Have fun!
