Is the amtrack station in St Louis within walking distance to the metrolink?|103715

We are wanting to take our son to St Louis on the train, and need to know if it would be possible without a car. Also, any decent hotels within walking distance to the metrolink that are reasonably priced would be helpful as well.

The Union Station metrolink is about a five minute walk from the Amtrak station. Here_s a map:

It would be just a short walk from the Amtrak to the Metro at Union Station. There is a reasonably priced Drury Inn just behind Union Station.
