An important letter has been sent 7 days ago and has not turned up yet, is this normal ?
There is no way to give you an accurate answer to this question. In both the United Kingdom, and the United States the mail delivery is a function of the government (OK, the USPS claims to be _independent_) and we all know stories about dealing with bureaucrats.
However, from time to time I will send letters or packages to American military members serving in Iraq, and routinely the delivery time for that distance is about 9 days. I_m sure you letter will arrive shortly.Last one I sent took 4 days!if u had sent it in 1st stamp it would have turnd yet.
if it was in 2nd stamp ovously it take salong time to turn.I had a parcel sent from L.A. it only took 9 days , the next one never arrived ,turns out one of our local postmen stole it and many others.
