What is the best neighborhood to live in and around Colorado Springs?|107781

I am set to relocate to Ft. Carson in Aug. 2010. When I moved to Fayetteville, NC I ended up in a not so nice area. I would like to get it right this time. I am looking for a nice and SAFE area to live. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks!

OH! About 15 minutes outside of Colorado Springs is a town called Manitou Springs. Its amazing. Its a little town with a TON of character and wonder, friendly people. I adore it.
