My mother needs to use oxygen now and wants to travel to Florida. Is she allowed to take an oxygen cylinder accross the US border?

I am sure she is. She will probably need more than one for the trip and visit. She needs to talk to the local company that supplies her oxygen. They have surely dealt with this before. They can give her contact info for companies they work with in the U.S. so she can call them for service there.
