What are some nice beaches near Universal Studios, Hollywood? Any recommendations for hot spots in the area?|111193

My boyfriend and I are college students and are taking a short trip to Universal Studios, Hollywood. We are looking for other places to visit that are within the area during our stay, specifically a nice beach. Any ideas?

It_s about a 20 minute drive (depending on traffic) to get to your nearest beach. But I think the nicest nearest beach would be Zuma, which would be a 30-40 minute drive. .

Well you could take the Ventura Highway and cut over to Malibu on your way back. Eat of Paradise Cove. That would be a fun thing to do...
