What are the busiest subways in New York?|169523

I want to write a story for my school paper about the problems of the NYC subway system and I wanted to reference the crowdedness as a problem? I also need quotes of passengers taking those lines. Which of the subway lines are the busiest and at what time?

  • its hard to pin point a particular subway line cause theyre all busy especially during rush hour. what you have is some busy and crowded train stations such as, 42nd st grand central on the 4, 5 and 6 line. 34th st penn station on the 1,2 and 3 line.

  • The 6 train is super crowded during rush hour. In fact, the 4/5/6 trains (Lexington Ave lines) are all so crowded that they_ve started construction on the 2nd Ave line.

  • The Lexington Avenue Line, which is the only line serving the East Side. It is always crowded, especially when the Yankees are playing at home.

    Good luck

  • The E and F trains are also crowded during rush hour, however, i dont_ think they are as crowded ast the 4 5 and 6 trains

  • The 4/5/6 trains. I_ve been on then at all times of the day and they are always jammed packed.

  • The one you are waiting to board.

Seems that way whenever I visit NYC.

  • Penn Station
    Times Square
