How are the Mississippi beach fronts after Katrina?|124871

We would like to visit the Gulfport Boloxi area to bring them some of our tourist money and I am having a tough time finding Hotels (that are still standing). Where is a good place look for hotels, B_B_s etc Casinos, sight seeing. Are the beaches still wiped out or do some beach front hotels still exist? Thanks much!

The best casino to stay in is Beau Rivage. The beaches are OK, still not up to par and nothing compared to Florida beaches. The Hard Rock Casino is nice as well, across the street is Island View and a nice place. All have buffets. Not a lot of the historic homes still there. Long recovery still ahead but they have made a lot of headway.

Yeah1 They are totally back to normal. We went to the beach this summer and all the mansions and hotels are back up. The only thing I don_t know about is the casino but I think they are back up if everything else is. Go ahead and have fun! We did!
