What is the easiest way to get from Sequoia National Park to Las Vegas?|155528

I am going to be hiking from Yosemite Valley to Sequoia National Park. Then from Sequoia National Park I need to somehow get to Las Vegas. What would be the easiest and least expensive way. Bus, Train, or renting a car. Also what city would I have to go to? Thanks

  • The _easiest_ way to get from Sequoia to Las Vegas is probably to take the Sequoia-Visalia shuttle, which will run $10-15 depending on the day (weekends are $15), then take an Amtrak or a Greyhound bus from there to Las Vegas. That will run roughly $55 on top of the Sequoia-Visalia shuttle.

One other way to get to Las Vegas is probably to hitchhike to Fresno, and from Fresno take a Greyhound bus to Las Vegas. Tickets for the Greyhound route run between 60 and 90 dollars, depending on when you go and what kind of ticket you have. I_d suggest getting your ticket ahead of time to get lower rates.

Otherwise, renting a car would be pretty expensive, and I believe you_d have to make to to Fresno anyway to find a place to rent from. Bus, by far, would be the cheapest.
