How much will I need in spending money for a ten day trip to Italy?|163747

We will be staying in hostels most of the time excluding may three nights. There will be 4 of us (two couples going) and we wana know how much we should each bring..Please help!

air-ticket for 4 $5000,
3 night hotel( 2 rooms) $ 1300
6 night Hostel ( 4 beds) $900
Food $200 per day

well ive been to Venice and that was pretty pricey...so id say a fair bit although ive also heard italy isnt as expensive....but id take as if it was maybe the same or a bit more expensive then uk...if that helps at all...
