Is there tax on movie tickets in New York City?|124022

Im planning a party and im not sure how much money do my friends need to bring. We have to eat dinner and other things.

  • No tax on movie tickets yet but our Governor is trying to get one implemented.

_Haircuts are getting more expensive. Today, some purchases, like haircuts, MOVIE TICKETS and cable television subscriptions, are not subject to city sales tax. But New York State, which has an even bigger budget problem than New York City, wants to tax them to raise revenue. New York City is willing to play ball._

Breakfast: $0 to $7; Some hotel provides a free hot breakfast so wake up early and eat enought to carry you to lunch.

Lunch: $5 to $20; All you can-eat restaurants and can save you big.

Dinner: $15 to $60; If you can_t pronunce the items on the menu, be prepared to pay a pretty penny but the restaurant will do their best to let you have a good dining experience.

AMC Empire 25 is a good theatre to go to. The arm rest flips up to make couple snuggle close.

  • At least 100 each. Everything in the city is taxed. Sales tax, entertainment tax.
