We want to go to Sea World and San Diego Zoo next year as early as possible. After the winter, what month does it start to warm up? How cold does it get in San Diego?
Spring is kind of cool in SD in my opinion. Winter and Spring temps can vary depending on the weather, it will either be somewhat cool and in the 60_s or warm and sunny and in the 70_s and 80_s when there are Santa Ana winds or any slight offshore flow.
Mid-May to Mid-June is probably one of the worst times of year for weather along the coast. We call it _May Gray_ and _June gloom_ b/c the weather pattern at the time of year produces a thick marine layer and it_s overcast a lot. Late June through Novemember are the warmest times of year in SD.
The coldest it gets at night near the coast in SD is usually around 50. The days are usually in the 60_s and 70_s.april-junejune is your best bet for a fun filled summer day.
