Do you learn about other countries In school in the united states?|143123

In canada we learn all about other countries in school. We even learn all of the american states and where they are and everything and we learn about politics in america and in other countries. Do you learn stuff about canada or anywhere else in school in the united states?

  • Yes, world history and current events studies.

  • Yes, we learn about Europe, Asia, basically every continent

  • Not much in public schools, kind of sad actually.

  • in mexico we learn about universal history and we know about many countries. and about canada i know avril lavigne is the second most beautiful girl, and obviusly you are the first. Greetings from mexico

  • Well, things about other countries are taught in the US. But like in Canada when it comes to learning French, just because it is taught doesn_t mean everybody will learn or remember. We learn some about Canada, and also other countries in the world, but the extent of that may depend on the region.

  • Not really.

If you can get a copy of our GED (General Equivalency Diploma - a test that_s supposed to be just as good as passing high school), you will see what little American public schools have to offer. I passed my GED in the 98th percentile and they never even tried to teach me American history, let alone Canadian history.
