I need to get from Newark to the Philly sports complex by train. How do i do it?|122817

I fly in to Newark on thursday afternoon and i wiold like to take in the Flyers game thursday evening.

  • You_ll take an Amtak train and use the SEPTA subway in Philly.

From the Newark (NJ) Airport, follow the signs to the Amtrak trains. You will go up one level, pass through the fare gates and go down one level onto the Amtrak train platforms. It takes approximately 5 minutes to get from AirTrain to the Amtrak train platforms. Take a train to the 30th Street Station stop in Philadelphia.
There are two afternoon trains out of the airport to Philly.

From the 30th Street Station, transfer to the SEPTA Subway:

You_ll need to take the Market Frankford Line (blue) eastbound toward Frankford Terminal, get off at the 15th _ Market Street Stop and transfer to the Broad Street Line (orange) southbound toward Pattison. Get off at the last southbound stop, Pattison Avenue. Wachovia Center is right there.
