What is the best beach in Southern California?|102339

I just moved to the San Diego area. So far I_ve been to Ocean Beach and Del Mar. I looove Del Mar! Any other good ones?

There are so many great beaches in San Diego...depending on what you want to do. Some are known for their great surfing. Others are perfect for families, beach volleyball, people-watching and so on. There_s even a non-sanctioned nude beach.

La Jolla is my favorite for watching the sunset. The light bounces off the cliffs and its spectacular.

Torrey Pines has hiking trails down to the beach that make for great coastal hiking.

Coronado has a nice clean beach and you can rent bikes or surreys and bike along the coast.

Pacific Beach has beach volleyball, lots of people in their 20s, with many bars and restaurants nearby.

South of the pier in Oceanside.

T-street, San Clemente State beach are my favs!! about an hour north of San Diego and these are our fav beaches for the most part around here!
