What is the best area of South Carolina to raise a family?|103221

My family wants to move somewhere in the US, preferably South Carolina. What is a good part of South Carolina for a family to live. Our main concern is having a good middle school for my brother and high school for me,

Charleston, SC is a great place to raise a family. Charleston is small enough to feel warm and cozy, but big enough for you to be able to have fun. It has lots of history, golf, beaches, etc. The school system in charleston is not the best admittedly, but it does have two of the best individual schools in the state, and one of the best high schools in the country. School of the Arts is a great middle, but if your brother is not a musician, artists, actor, etc, then Buist Academy or Cairo Middle is a good choice as well. As for you, Academic Magnet High School is a terrific school. One of the top twelve in the nation for the last four years. See the websites below. Hope all goes well!

For schools the two best areas are York county (Fort Mill/Clover) and the Greenville/Spartanburg area schools. These two school systems are highly rated and always vie for #1 and #2 in the state.
