What age do you start and finish middle school in the USA?|111376

I live in england and have no idea what middle school is.

I live in Missouri and middle school here is from 6th to 8th grades. So about an 11 year old to about 13, I would say.
Elem school K-5
High School 9-12

As for California, we normally start middle school after sixth grade, and generally we are around the age of twelve or thirteen when we enroll.

Normally you_re 10 or 11 when you start and 13 or 14 when you finish. It is the 6th, 7th and 8th years of schooling.
