Are number addresses on the same side of the street on all parallel streets?|110895

In a given city, say Los Angeles, do all the east/west streets have even numbers on one side and odd numbers on the other side? Is it uniform throughout the city?

In general, it_s true for individual cities in the Los Angeles area. But I believe that a few cities in the Los Angeles area have the even and odd numbers reversed from what the majority of the cities do.
