Disneyland questions? Need the best place to buy tickets and a good hotel for 3 nights?|161293

We are planning on Disneyland at the end of May. We will be driving. Are there any hotels that offer a package with ticktes to the park? Also, suggestions for a kid-friendly hotel? We can_t stay in the Disneyland Hotel (too expensive). Looking to pay not more than $150/night. Oh,and we are bringing our 5 and 1 year old. Are 1 yr olds free admission?

  • I would recommend you stay on harbor by disneyland. Try the paradise pier hotel like someone else mentioned and also try AAA they are good at giving dicounts and packages. the one year old is free. try Vons i think they sell discount tickets, if not email me and i can try to help u find the cheapest way to go, i can also give u times of operation and numbers to nearby places....

  • Your best bet is to purchase your Disneyland tickets direct from Disney -- you_ll get a discount by purchasing a multi-day hopper pass:

    Children under 3 are free.

There are some great hotels directly across the street from Disneyland -- literally within walking distance (5 to 10 minutes from room to Main Street):

    Best Western Park Place Inn

    Literally the closest

    Park Vue Inn

    Next to the Best Western

    Camelot Inn _ Suites

    A popular choice...

    Carousel Inn

    Hope that helps!

  • I always recommend the Candy Cane Inn and the Howard Johnson (HoJo). While some hotels are closer, these two are very close to the front entrance, so you can walk back to the hotel for a swim or a nap in the afternoon. They are a step above the other hotels in the immediate area in terms of rooms, service, pool, and value.

Some hotels offer tickets, but you don_t get any sort of big discount. As already mentioned, your 1YO is free. I also recommend disneyland.com for buying tickets, you can have them sent to you in the mail. I_ve done this many times... it works great and you don_t have to stand an hour in the ticket line at the park.

    Have fun!

Tip: Call 714-781 DINE to make reservations for Carnation Cafe. They have a great PBJ which kids love, and it keeps them busy for about 20 minutes... building it, then eating it.

  • Try the Park Vue Inn.

They sell park tickets, possible in a package.

They_re cheap and directly across the street from Disneyland. About a 5 minute walk to the front gate.

  • I year olds are free.
There are many family hotels by Disneyland, try Hotels.com.
If you belong to AAA, they always have the best deals.
    Safeway also sells park-hoppers.

  • the best plan would be to stay at paradise pier hotel it is cheaper than the other disney hotels and they offer package deals for the parks plus it is only a few feet from disney_s california adventure park :)
