My husband and I would like to plan a trip for our 10th anniversary, but will probably need to take our daughter if my sis is unable to keep her for the week. Outside of a cruise, do you know of nice resort or hotel that offers a kids camp or program on the premises. Our daughter is 5.
I would certainly consider the Hyatt Regency in Scottsdale. It is such a beautiful romantic place and yet there are couples with children there as well. The reason being their wonderful activities for kids. They have a Camp Hyatt Kachina, kids from 3-5 or 6-12 get supervised games and activities, cowboy storytellers, making Indian beabwork, learning about the desert. The kids love it and you will too, as it leaves you free to enjoy the spa, golf or tennis or shopping or just lounging around one of the myriad pools. I don_t know when your anniversary is, but it_s hard to beat Arizona weather any time of year (it is a little HOT in July or August) but the rates are better then too.
