What is it that intrigues us so much with ghost towns and abandoned amusement parks?|190938

I don_t know why but I just find them so neat and fascinating. Does anyone else share these same feelings?

I find both of those things _creepy_, and not necessarily fascinating. Although now that I think about it, I might find it interesting just to know the history and how they got that way.

Yeah, years ago it sure was a blast walking down the boardwalk after the park shut down for the night. It_s quiet at night out there and it_s a little chilly so we wear trench coats. Santa Carla in winter- the cool breeze comes in over the Pacific ....

Yes, Scooby Doo and his gang. For some reason, they are ALWAYS at some ghost town or abandoned amusement park. It might be because there is a costumed guy (or gal) trying to frighten people off so that they can buy the town/park cheap. And they would have gotten away with it too, if it hadn_t been for those meddling kids ....
