We are headed to Washington D.C. by car from Milwaukee next week. We are trying to avoid the excessive tolls on the freeway and are planning on going through either Indianapolis or Lexington, KY along the way. We were hoping to make a stop or two at some _interesting_ places so that it_s not continuous driving because he won_t peel his eyes off of his video games. If you have suggestions, I_d love to explore them. Thanks!
I live in indianapolis. The Downtown area has a zoo with komodo dragons on display, lots of museums such as a western museum, a big huge mall :) with a movie theatre check out www.indy.org What is nice ( if you don_t smoke) is marion county has a ban on smoking in restaurants also. hwy 40 runs through here, which used to go directly to washington DC....
