What types of thrift stores will buy clothing even if it is not name brand?|136474

i have some clothes to sell, including some purses, the purses are name brand, and some of the clothes are named brand, but not necessarily in season, they are nice items and in good shape, and i know i may not gett much for them but that is ok. what type of thrift stores should i look for to sell them at? will charitable thrift stores take them at cheap prices?

  • I go to Plato_s Closet. They usually take more name brand things though, but they take some that aren_t if it_s in good condition. It depends on how much stuff they have too, if they have a lot then they_re going to be more picky about it. It wouldn_t hurt to try.

  • Thrift Stores (including the Salvation Army) do not buy clothes. They are all donated. What you are looking for may be a consignment shop. Where they take your clothes, then when they sell you get part of the money. Or you can just have a yard sale with them.

  • Plato_s Closet.

  • salvation army.
