What is there to do in the Rancho Cucamunga area of Californis?|110927

We are visiting relatives in Upland and would like some ideas of things to do. We will be going to Disney (of course), but teens get bored easily. Any art fairs, festivals, special shopping ideas?

Well there is plenty of shopping to do in the area and lots more. Within 30 minutes drive you can be at the beach, in the mountains or in Palm Springs. There is a new mall in rancho cucamonga called Victoria Gardens, has all the upscale shops like Hollisters, Urban Outfitters, Abercrombie and tons of resturants. Also Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear are a close drive. Depends on age of your kids _ what they like to do, but there is plenty.Dont know where you are coming from but the beaches are great, for teens have them go to Huntington or newport beach. The boardwalks are great and the ocean waves good for minor surfing and good boogie boarding. Upland also has a street fair I believe every Wednesday evening from like 6pm to 10 pm with bands and good food and arts and crafts. Its free (well not the food). Ok have fun there. I live there when not living here in Ukraine, you made me think of what i will do when I get back in 3 weeks. Good Luck.
