We are considering a move to Boulder from a classic NEngland town nr NYC. What suburbs would be suitable?|106572

Good schools and established, older neighborhoods are key! Also interested in the possibility of private schools as well for our now 2nd _ 4th grd boys. Thanks for the help!

That pretty well describes Boulder. The nearby town have established older neighborhoods but they were farming communities, and the houses tend toward small and quaint. Towns like Louisville, Lafayette, Superior and Niwot have large new houses and small old houses.

Boulder has a wide variety of private schools available as well.
