How is Mississippis culture different from other US states?|166925

I_m doing a project on Mississippi and i need to know how mississippi_s culture is unique. Please help me as soon as possible!

  • there are a ton of towns named after indians in the state of mississippi. tishomingo was the chief of the north half of the state. tippah was his wife. they had a son named tombigbee. iuka was a travelin indian lookin for a cure for his illness and he came to the northeast section of the state and found a spring and drank from it...it cured his illness and he decided to live there. the spring was named mineral springs. i know there are more stories all over the state but all i can only remember a few of the north half.

    tishomingo-town
    tippah-town
    tombigbee-waterway
    iuka-town

we are a pretty normal state i guess...most states have their indian stories and stuff. lol. sorry if i didn_t help much...

  • OK.well I live there and this is my review. There is the delta which is off the Big MISSISSIPPI!It has great food culture, fried and all.once you get more south you get into the heartland and then comes soul food.On the gulf coast there is much hindu culture and seafood. In the delta it is very poor.
