What are some cool things to do in America or Canada over the summer? I have a few weeks vacation and I_m interested in doing something cool. I_m also open to visiting nearby islands easily accessible by boat/ship.
Definatly go to the beaches in Florida or go surfing in California. Depending on how much money you have, you can take a cruise to the Bahamas at the beginning of the summer and possibly go diving. It really depends on what you are into. Like gambling and casinos? go to Vegas. Like broadway shows? go to New York. Chicago is fun to go and catch a cubs game. you could go visit amusement parks, national parks, museums, etc, etc, etc. The list is endless.Canada and America are HUGE... so you would have to be a bit more specific as to where you want to go to get better advice.
However it sounds like you maybe want to do something _cool_ or different.. and nothing is better than a cross country road trip.
If I were you I would spend some time in California.. take in LA and San Diego and all the cool stuff they have to offer (Hollywood, Disneyland, Great clubs and nice beaches). Then rent a car and drive up the coast and do some camping in Oregon where are you bound to see some cool wild life and meet some cool people. Speed through Washington, climb Mount Baker if you have time. Hit Vancouver for some great Sushi and even greater and friendlier people. Then finish by taking a ferry to Vancouver island. Hit up a little known surf town called Tofino. The surfing is cold but there are tons of beaches, nature trails, and inexpensive tours to ocean caves, whale watching, and hot springs. Its lots of fun.Well, in the United States there are many different beaches. I would visit the beaches in Florida. You can go surfing in CA. Or,you can visit Alaska, its very beautiful. If you want to visit an island visit the Hawaiian islands they have many volcanoes and they have beautiful beaches, or Puerto Rico a territory.well i live in canada so...you can go to the hundreds of beaches - they_re really pretty in PEI :) uhmm yeah...
