Where is the best place to live in the United States?|110540

Where is the best place to live in the US based on available jobs, rate of pay, Cheap apartments for the best amount of space(looking for a 2 bedroom), climate and safety? I am currently in Albuquerque NM. Average rent for a 2 bedroom is at least 600.00 a month and they are pretty small.

  • I hear Austin, TX is blowing up for jobs and a great place to live. Also, check out Nashville, TN or Louisville, KY for slightly cheaper places that still have good jobs available.

  • I am from ABQ so I am very familiar with that area. I would suggest North Carolina, where I currently live. The Asheville or Wilmington areas are really booming and excellent for things to do, particularly outdoor activities. Asheville is in the Mountains and Wilmington is on the beach. Asheville is a little like Santa Fe with the arts and cultural things going on. Unlike Santa Fe it hasn_t been taken over by the _Wanna Be Movie Stars_ and north easterners

  • / Not here in the MD/D.C./VA area...

Average rent for a 2 bedroom is at least $2,000.00 a month, and they are pretty small, too.

I think anywhere having a huge housing crisis might be a good bet, but the job market might not be good. - Florida, Las Vegas, California, etc.

  • try pennslyvannia its cheap but might be hard to find job u can work gas station or amusement parks there many like dorney park its really fun there
