Are there any beaches in Washington state?|179263

I am planning to visit Seattle Washington. Are there any beaches there and can anyone recommend me any to visit this summer.

  • The entire western border of the state is coastline. Seattle is inland but is on Puget Sound and Elliott Bay. In Seattle there are beaches along Puget Sound and Lake Washington. The link below shows the parks in the city and the sandy beaches are at Alki, Carkeek, Golden Gardens, Seward, and Magnuson. Discovery Park has a waterfront that you can get down to, but it is more rocky than sandy.

  • Sorry I Live In Wisconsin.

  • the pacific ocean

  • If it_s near the coast then of course there is a beach!

  • There are beaches almost everywhere.

  • Of course...to it_s west.

  • There are, but unfortunately they have hardly any sand and tons of rocks, the water is way to cold to swim in, and besides that it is gross, dead jellyish are constantly popping up on the shore, it is creepy. Washington is a fun state but the beaches suck.
