How bad does it get in Fort Pierce, Florida during Hurricane season?|129592

Thinking about moving there and am worried about the hurricanes. Should I move or not? How bad does it get?

it depends if a hurricane hits ya, hurricanes are a lot easier to deal with than a tornado. you have like, days of notice. Should you move there. We just left, our homeowners insurance jumped from 1500 a year to almost 5000 in one year! No joke. Plus it_s swamped with Illegals that drive cost up and wages down. Public schools on the gulf coast are talking about building public housing for teachers cause they can_t get them to come to Fl. wages to low for cost of living. The illegals use the schools, infrastructure, medical, and get there welfare and put nothing into the system. It;s awful. I loved living there but we couldn_t make ends meet anymore and that Insurance was the final straw. Good Riddance!
I can go back on vacation and not have to deal with the ignorance or the traffic! LOL No don_t move there. The Hurricanes r the least of your worries
