Where is the best place to watch a meteor shower in Chicago?|136348

There_s a meteor shower coming up soon that I want to see. I_m in the city of Chicago and leaving the city is not really an option. Where is the best place to watch it in the city because of all the city lights?

Ya, if you want to pay and see it well- go to adler of course. But just by eye, then head to the lakeshore- the dunes in Indiana are away from the lights and are a good bet- otherwise head south into the cornfields!

I don_t know where but be sure to try watching it on a room in the Monaco hotel while drinking some juice. Or just find a pretty vacant place where you can see the sky clearly to watch the meteor showers.

you would have to go at least 30 miles from the city to get away from the lights
other wise you will have to go to the Adler Planetarium
