What are some cool places to visit in the US?|183889

I am in college and have very little money. Me and a few friends are going on a road trip for spring break, and we want some cool places to visit. Any where you have been, any where you recommend! Resturants, hotels, parks, cities, beaches, museums, landmarks, any where! They don_t have to be big either, if you have a cool family owned restaurant you love in your backyard, tell us about it!

Try to keep it on the east coast and nothing that will cost a lot. Thanks!

Check out the National Park Service_s website at www.nps.gov. You can get a NP Passport for about 8 bucks and collect _stamps_ with the date that you were at each park. They_re relatively inexpensive (sometimes free) and it_s a good way to see a whole variety of things. Some of my favorites have been Mammoth Caves (KY), Golden Spike (UT), Dry Tortugas (FL), Gettysburg (PA), and Lincoln_s Home (IL). Of course the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, and Grand Teton were pretty cool too.

In New York it_s beautiful! Make sure to go to Niagara Falls, then in Montana/Wyoming there_s the hot springs it_s a huge volcano but won_t erupt on you and it_s like geysers
