Where do you purchase park hopper tickets for Orlando, FL?|137075

We are planning a trip to Orlando and wanted to know what is a good place to purchase park hopper tickets? Are they really expensive?

  • What parks are you wanting to go to? Disney has park hopper tickets, I believe you add $50 to the base ticket price for the park hopper option. The best place to buy them is on the Disney World website. There are many fraudulent websites claiming to have majorly discounted Disney tickets, but they are either a 100% scam or require you to tour a timeshare for them. Orlando hotel discounts and ticket outlets usually add their own handling and convenience fees, and you may end up spending MORE on them than gate price. Gate price would be the same as you would pay purchasing them online, but the advantage to doing it online is that you won_t have to wait in the crazy-long lines at the ticket center when you get to Disney World.

Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure have several options for passes that include both theme parks. The best deal is the 7-day unlimited Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure/CityWalk pass that is $100. You can jump between those parks as much as you like and go as often as you want in a 7-day time period.

There are three Sea World parks in Orlando (Sea World, Discovery Cove, Aquatica--I_m not including Busch Gardens in Tampa, although you can get passes for that park along with the other three) and you can purchase packages that include any combination of those three parks, but as far as I know they do not have any kind of park hopping.

  • Short answer - yes. They are really expensive. It will cost you $50 flat fee to add the park hopper option to any Disney ticket. Ticket options and prices:

I would not buy tickets from anybody except Disney directly, or an authorized dealer such as AAA,

    or

There are lots of ticket scams, and you cannot tell by looking at the ticket if it is good or not. So stick to authorized dealers.

  • Park hopping is an option. It is a flat $50 per ticket.

However, there are plenty of places to get discounted tickets. Undercover Tourist (especially through the Mouse Savers Newsletter), Maple Leaf Tickets, theofficialticketcenter.com, AAA. Sometimes theses places even throw in free days or the hopper option for free.

You can add/upgrade your tickets at anytime. So, you don_t have to add park hopping until the moment you need it.

Whatever you do, DO NOT purchase off eBay or Craig_s List.
