How do I sign up for garbage in San Francisco?|105067

I just moved to SF and have to pay for garbage. How do I signup for a new account, and with which company? I can_t find this information anywhere.

If you don_t have a phone book _ don_t see the trash trucks ask a neighbor. Bring a pad _ pen in case they are in a hurry _ say _ I hate to bother you but I just moved here _ didn_t know who to call about the trash pick up_. They might just tell you the name _ you have to write it down _ thank them. Then look up their number on the internet or call your local library or go to the library for the listings in the phone book.

Sunset Scavenger. Just call and they_ll ask you a bunch of question and open an account, tell you which day your weekly pickup will be. You either have to wheel all your garbage containers out to the curb on garbage day (real early in case they come real early) or else pay extra if you want them to go to wherever it is you store your garbage cans.
