What other states are similar to Maine just doesnt get as cold?|179656

I love Maine. The people are friendly, its calm/easy going, and beautiful. I just hate the winter. Where would you recommand thats similar to Maine but not as cold?

Michigan is beautiful. it gets cold in the winter, but not as bad as Main.
