How does Google Maps, Mapquest and/or Bing determine a start or end point when you only indicate a city/town?|161273

no link ... but the have maps loaded into a data base from last 5 years . it traces the main roads from your start to stop as they see the side roads change

they start from the center of the town, it might be like 5 minutes from your house.

Uhmm theyy would start from the center of the town __ End at the center of the next town ...
