Minimum age to reserve a room at the Tropicana?|172487

I_m going to Vegas next month and I was planning to stay at the Tropicana, but I_ve read conflicting things on several websites, do you have to be 21 to reserve a room or not? Because I_ve heard 18 and 21. Does anyone know? And are their any other hotels that I could stay at since I_m only 19?

  • The 21 rule only applies to gambling and drinking. The legal age for everything else is 18. If you look at their reservation page it does not state any age restrictions therefore and adult is 18 and over. As long as you have an ID and credit card you should be fine. Pay in advance and they will only briefly look at your ID to compare it to the credit card.

  • Well, when I was in Vegas 5 years ago, and I don_t think they_ve changed the check in rules that much, it_s 21 to reserve a room there. Atleast it was that age at the New York New York. Since you have to be 21 there to gamble anyway. I know that for a fact since it was posted at the lobby check in when we arrived. If you are under 21 you need to be with someone, probably a parent or guardian, to be at the hotel and be a guest. I don_t believe there are any hotels, atleast on the strip, that you can reserve a room if you are under 21.

Check for hotels off the strip to see if you need to be 21 to reserve them. Yes you may need to take a cab to get onto the strip and that can get pricey if you are planning on spending every night on there.

  • 21 in Las Vegas. They will ask for ID.
