What is the difference between east coast and west coast?|182821

I have never been to new england or eastcoast states like virginia, massachusetts, connecticut, georgia, rhode island, pennsylvania, vermont ,new york, maine. Looks really nice there with all the new england history.

  • There_s a world of difference between the northeast and southeast, much like there is between the Southwest and Northwest.

Northeast cities like NYC and Boston may remind you of San Francisco and to a lesser extent Seattle - they_re VERY densely populated. Most families have 1 car, walking or the subway will get you everywhere. The cities are 300+ years old - so they_ve got a lot more personality. They_re quirkier, more metropolitan, and at times very European feeling. The people are much more hurried, and you_ll probably find them cold - or even rude - on the streets until you party with them at pubs.

For the most part, I find that the West coast is much more naturally beautiful. But you_ve probably never seen anything like fall in New England - very suddenly EVERY tree is bright yellow, orange, and red.

The south feels like a different world. Life moves MUCH slower than the northeast or west coast. Virginia and North Carolina are both educated places with beautiful coasts.

I don_t have a lot of nice things to say about South Carolina and Georgia. You tend to run into a lot of ignorand people there, and Atlanta is a hellhole.

  • The sun rises in the east and sets in the west.
