Where is a good place to go on a road trip from Washington state?|189522

I would like to go somewhere in california. I like the beach and night life.

The coastal route all the way down!!! You_ll get plenty of beach but probably not too much night life, esp in Oregon. But the drive is INCREDIBLE!!!!

San Loius Obisbo, but a great roadtrip is Yosemite...........
